Jamie's trapping year has been a very successful one so far!  Here Caleb gives Dad a helping hand retrieving a marten from the trap. December was quite cold, but January has been unseasonably warm so far. Here and there we have a cold spell, but we really can't complain much. We ARE in Northwestern Ontario! The beavers are all caught, and almost all are prepared for sale. Jamie is hoping for a few more marten, and then on to ice fishing! We had one group in Jan., and March and April will be busy right through to walleye closing April 15. Where oh where does the time go? Before we know it our 2010 season will be starting, and I will be cleaning cabins again! Aaahhhhhh! :-)
