Finally, summer weather is here! We finished off the week of June 20-27 with a trip to Malta Lake with a couple of cabins and our campers. What a trip! We packed 3 four wheelers, a six wheeler, a Rhino, and 2 pick ups full of people and supplies and headed 10 miles into the bush to get to Malta Lake for a day of fun at the beach and fishing. We even brought along our two kayaks for water fun! Sadie Fassett, our chocolate lab, and Sadie Thompson, our guests'  vizsla, even got to join in the fun! Once at the beach we cooked hot dogs over a fire, swam, walked the shore, and just sat and enjoyed the sun! Most decided that fishing was just way too much work, so we just sat and enjoyed the beautiful day and each other's company. The kids never stopped! They swam, kayaked, and buried each other in the sand. It was the perfect day with friends!
